Dear IASS/AIS bureau,
With the last e-mail to the chairs of the sessions I think that the active
part on the congress program is over. My colleague who is doing the abstract
book gave an interesting statistics. We have 501 papers in the program, 471
"regular" papers, 28 papers in the masters' series and 2 guest speakers
lectures (Hintikka and Marcus). The number of papers is identical to that of
A Coruña where in the abstract book there are 492 papers and 8 plenary
speeches. I am satisfied with this numbers because all would agree that in A
Coruña it was quite a big congress. We have 365 registered foreign
participants, 40 among guest speakers, IASS bureau, accompanying persons
and masters' lecturers, about 50 Bulgarian participants (lower fee, or if
from NBU no fee), my team of 8 people and about 15 collaborators who will
help during the congress. Passive participants continue to register, I guess
by the beginning of the congress we shall be about 500 participants.
Have a good night
Kristian
